In the early spring of 2021, a 43-year-old man named Akin Akin vanished from Tacoma, Washington. He was last seen on March 10, 2021, only a month after he had relocated to the state from California. Akin was experiencing homelessness at the time of his disappearance and did not have a cell phone, yet he was known for being diligent about finding ways to stay in contact with his loved ones.
