Saniyya Dennis, a 19-year-old Buffalo State College student, was last seen on April 24, 2021, leaving her dormitory late at night. Surveillance footage later showed her in the Niagara Falls area, near Goat Island. In the hours leading up to her disappearance, Saniyya had been involved in an argument with her boyfriend, who subsequently ended their relationship.
