In the late spring of 2021, a compassionate community and a concerned family began the search for 15-year-old Kendra King, who was reported missing from Knoxville, Tennessee. On May 24, 2021, the young woman, described as a white female with brown hair and brown eyes, left her foster home and seemingly vanished.
