On the night of his disappearance, Wright borrowed a friend's vehicle to drive home, but he never returned it as planned. The vehicle was later discovered parked at his residence in Westhaven, with his personal belongings still inside, raising immediate concerns.
Wright was reported missing by his friends and family on July 21, 2021, ten days after he was last seen. He was described as 5'11", weighing 140 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, a shirt, and a black hat with "Cali" written on it in red lettering. Additionally, he was known to have a tattoo of "Danny Wright" and two dates on his back, and he was an enrolled member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
Despite efforts by local law enforcement, few leads have emerged. Some of Wright’s friends have voiced concerns that he may have been murdered, as they believe foul play could be involved in his sudden disappearance.
