David Loasby, a 62-year-old man from Wisconsin, was last seen on December 14, 2021, while snorkeling at Chang's Beach near Makena, Maui. Witnesses reported seeing Loasby swimming south around a rocky point along the shore, wearing black surf shorts, black and green fins, and a full-face snorkeling mask. He was reported missing by his family later that day after failing to return as expected.
