Curtis "Corky" Chandler, a 14-year-old boy from Lockport, Illinois, was last seen on August 28, 1977. On the night of his disappearance, Curtis was with 47-year-old Owen Clark at the home of a neighbor, Clark's girlfriend. They reportedly left the house on foot after telling the girlfriend they were going for a ride. The next day, Clark was found with severe burns on 70% of his body.
