At approximately 4:30 a.m., Owen Clark stumbled into a local fire station, alone and suffering from extensive burns covering about 70% of his body. Clark provided a strange account of what had transpired, claiming that after he and Curtis had an argument, he went for a walk. He alleged that during his walk, he was attacked by a group of four young men who robbed him of $420, doused him with a flammable liquid, and set him on fire.
