Arnold Tittel, age 39, went missing on November 5, 1978, during a boating trip at Folsom Lake, California. He and his friend Virgil Bonham were last seen at 12:30 p.m. that day, stopping at a service station before heading to the lake. They planned to return by 5:00 p.m., but neither of the men was ever seen again.
