Walter Theo Ferguson, a 23-year-old man from Matthews, North Carolina, was last seen on February 26, 1980. His disappearance has long been suspected to be linked to his association with the Hell's Angels biker gang. Ferguson was reportedly involved in a burglary just days before his disappearance, during which a coin collection was stolen from a neighbor's home.
