Roy Lee Shew, a 37-year-old man from North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, disappeared under mysterious circumstances on December 8, 1980. On the day of his disappearance, Shew received an unexplained phone call before leaving his residence in a light brown and yellow 1980 Oldsmobile. He was last seen wearing a blue jogging suit, and both he and his vehicle vanished without a trace. His car, which carried North Carolina plates, has also never been located.
