Jackie Belinda Houston, a 25-year-old woman, was last seen on May 5, 1981, in Dallas, Texas. She had been dropped off at the Longhorn Ballroom on the evening of May 4, 1981, around 8:15 p.m. Later that night, she called a friend at approximately 2:15 a.m., requesting a ride home. However, when the friend arrived at the location, Jackie was no longer there. Her disappearance was reported to the Dallas Police Department later that day, but despite initial efforts, she was never found.
