Carl Matthews Missing Person Case

Carl Steven Matthews, 36, was last seen on October 5, 1991, in Gulfport, Mississippi. He was at Brady’s Fish Camp, preparing to travel by boat to Cat Island in his 18-foot skiff. Matthews set out alone for the journey, but he never returned. His boat was later found by a shrimper on November 5, 1991, in the Cat Island Channel, but there was no sign of Matthews. Authorities believe he may have drowned during the trip, although his body was never recovered.
