Alon Haramati, a 59-year-old man, was last seen on June 29, 2010, in Petaluma, California. He had been in communication with his family that day, but afterward, all contact ceased. His white Suburban was discovered abandoned at Point Reyes National Seashore on July 1, 2010, with the keys, wallet, and cell phone still inside. Despite extensive ground searches conducted by California State Parks, no trace of Alon was found.
Haramati, who was originally from Israel, was well-regarded in his community, and his disappearance came as a shock to those who knew him. His family has expressed the belief that he may be deceased, but the circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear. The case is still classified as an endangered missing person, and the Petaluma Police Department continues to investigate.
