Ryohei Kikusui, a 36-year-old man from Japan, was last seen on July 2, 2013, while visiting San Francisco, California. He was staying in the city on vacation but never returned to his hotel that day, and has not been in contact with his family or friends since. His failure to return to Japan or report to work raised significant concerns.
On July 30, 2013, nearly a month after his disappearance, Kikusui's backpack was found on the sidewalk near the Golden Gate Bridge.
However, no further traces of him were discovered, and the circumstances of his disappearance remain unknown. Kikusui was described as an Asian male, standing 5'6" tall, weighing about 128 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He may have worn glasses. Despite investigative efforts, there have been no significant leads in the case, and it remains unsolved.
