Martin Andrew Smith, 54, was last seen on November 27, 2017, while camping in a remote area off the Hole in the Rock Road near Escalante, Utah. Originally from California, Smith had been camping in a Dry Wash area, and his campsite appeared intact when authorities later found it. His vehicle, a 1994 Honda, was missing, but some of his belongings were discovered, including two guns and ammunition, which were turned in by others.
