On a summer day, a 66-year-old man named Douglas Anthony Carter vanished from the Morrisania section of the Bronx, New York. The last time anyone saw him was on August 1, 2021. Known to some by his middle name, Anthony, he was a Black man with brown eyes, standing at a height of six feet. At the time he went missing, he was wearing a blue mechanic's jumpsuit and black boots, attire that spoke to his known skill of fixing cars right there on the street.
