In the late hours of September 6, 2021, 39-year-old Jared Mark Prescott was last seen in the Kansas City, Missouri area. He had been at the Dirty Bird bar with his brother that evening. According to his brother's account, he dropped Jared off near the 435 Highway and Eastwood Trafficway at approximately 3:00 a.m. At the time he was last seen, Jared was without his phone, any money, or his identification. He was wearing dark, square-framed prescription glasses.
A few years prior to his disappearance, Jared had sustained a traumatic brain injury and, as a result, would experience stress-induced seizures that could impair him both physically and mentally.
Jared is a white male with red/auburn hair and crystal blue eyes. Standing between 6'7' and 6'8' and weighing around 200 to 220 pounds, his stature is notable. He has extensive and distinctive tattoos covering his body. His entire back is a canvas of ink, featuring his last name 'Prescott' across the top, a Bible verse, Hebrews 6:19, and a large ocean scene. His upper chest is adorned with a Viking shield pattern. Each of his biceps displays a Viking warrior, and he has tattoos above each knee. The name of his sister, Reagan, is tattooed on his left ankle. He sometimes wore a goatee and has a lazy eye. The hair on his head was shaved on the sides and longer in the middle.
The circumstances surrounding Jared's disappearance remain unclear, and very few details have been made public in his case. The Kansas City Police Department is handling the investigation and encourages anyone with information to come forward. His case is listed with the Missouri State Highway Patrol as an active missing person investigation. An overview of the case indicates that the information available is vague. The account of him being dropped off on the side of a highway in the middle of the night without any personal belongings has left his loved ones with many unanswered questions. The lack of any contact or sightings of Jared since that night is a source of ongoing concern.Last Seen: Sep 6, 2021
