The disappearance of 21-year-old Sidiki Kebe, also known to some as 'Prince,' has left his family and authorities searching for answers. Kebe was last seen by his family at their home in Snellville, Georgia. His last known location after that was in the area of the 3600 block of Highway 52 in Dawson County. Concern grew when his car was found abandoned on Highway 52, about half a mile from the entrance to Amicalola Falls State Park. The vehicle reportedly had no license plates. Inside the car, authorities found a note, the contents of which have not been publicly disclosed.
The discovery of Kebe's car initiated a massive search of the rugged terrain surrounding Amicalola Falls State Park. For days, multiple agencies, including the Dawson County Sheriff's Office and Dawson County Fire and Emergency Services, combed the area. The extensive search efforts involved numerous K-9 units, helicopters, and drones. Search and rescue teams worked day and night, and authorities attempted to ping his phone multiple times in an effort to locate him. A resident in the area reported seeing a person on their trail camera, which prompted them to contact law enforcement. Despite these exhaustive efforts, which covered over 1,000 acres, no significant clues to Kebe's whereabouts were found.
After a week of intensive searching, officials made the difficult decision to suspend the active search. The challenging and rugged terrain had led to several injuries among the search team members, and the lack of new evidence contributed to the suspension. However, the Dawson County Sheriff's Office has kept his case open as a missing person investigation and encourages anyone with information to come forward. At the time of his disappearance, Sidiki Kebe was described as being approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing around 170 pounds, with short, dark hair and braces.
