Eleazar Medrano Frias, a 31-year-old man, was last heard from on July 20, 2022, after he attempted to cross into the United States from Ciudad Juárez, Mexico. His family believes that Eleazar was abandoned by a "coyote" (a human smuggler) in the Sierra Blanca region of Texas, near the U.S.-Mexico border. The last known communication from him was around this time, and since then, his whereabouts have remained unknown.
