In the summer of 2022, a 28-year-old man named Male Arefat Surur vanished from his home in Arlington, Virginia, sparking a perplexing missing person case. On July 30, 2022, Surur informed his family that he was embarking on a trip to West Virginia and anticipated returning by the early hours of the following morning.
