In the late autumn of 2022, concern grew for 39-year-old Willie L. Victory, a male resident of north St. Louis County, Missouri. Family members last had contact with him at his home on November 28, 2022. He was reported to the St. Louis County Police Department as a missing person on December 1, 2022. Prior to his disappearance, it was reported that Willie had made statements suggesting he might harm himself.
At the time he was last seen, he was wearing a gray t-shirt, a black jacket, black jogging pants, and a black hat with gold trim.
A troubling discovery was made on December 1, 2022, the same day he was reported missing. Willie's truck was found abandoned on the Clark Bridge, which carries Highway 367 across the Missouri River. The vehicle was parked in the center of the span on the southbound shoulder, and the keys were reportedly still inside. There was no sign of Willie at or near the location of his truck. Since he was last seen by his family, there has been no communication from him with either friends or relatives.
Willie is described as a Black male, standing between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, and weighing between 140 and 160 pounds. He has black hair, which he wore short, and brown eyes. He also has a full beard and mustache. A number of distinctive tattoos adorn both of his arms. These include a microphone, a cross, vines with thorns and blood drops, the word 'Hollywood' in capital letters surrounded by shadowing, the face of Jesus, and the name 'Stacey.' The St. Louis County Police Department is the primary investigating agency for this case. An overview of the case indicates that Willie Victory disappeared under distressing circumstances, with his abandoned vehicle found on a bridge shortly after he was last seen and had reportedly made self-harming statements.
