In the summer of 1979, a young woman's life took a mysterious turn in the Arizona desert. On June 19th of that year, 19-year-old Tejuana Jane Burnett vanished from the area of Wellton in Yuma County. She was reportedly last seen wearing a light blue blouse, blue denim shorts, and flip-flops. The plan for the day was straightforward; after possibly attending a class at the Marine Corps Air Station in Yuma, Tejuana's husband was scheduled to pick her up.
