Clarence Junior Hopper, 52, disappeared on February 7, 1980, from West Palm Beach, Florida. He was a crop duster by profession and had been working with fellow crop duster Charles Tim. The two men left West Palm Beach Airport in a twin-engine Beechcraft airplane, which they had purchased in September 1979. Their intended destination was over the Gulf of Mexico, but neither Hopper nor Tim were ever seen again, and it is believed that their plane likely crashed into the ocean.
