Merrianna Virginia Royce, an 8-year-old girl, was last seen on April 3, 1988, in Hoopa, California, along with her mother, Marilyn Royce. The pair disappeared under mysterious circumstances, and on April 16, 1988, their maroon 1980 AMC Eagle station wagon was found abandoned on Onion Mountain Road near Fish Lake.
