On the evening of May 25, 1991, 21-year-old Corey Delano Johnson borrowed his father's burgundy Mercury Grand Marquis in Richmond, Virginia, as his own vehicle was undergoing repairs. This would be the last time he was seen by his family. The following day, the car he was driving was discovered abandoned in a ditch on Crown Hill Road in Hanover County, approximately seven miles from where he was last seen.
