On the morning of June 27, 2015, Curtis Wilson was seen for the last time by a friend in Kelowna, British Columbia. Curtis had travelled from Alberta to British Columbia in a black rental car, model Chrysler 200. Subsequently, the rental was recovered in an area off Cosen Bay in the Kalamakla Provincial Park in Coldstream, British Columbia.
