On the morning of September 4, 2002, Edward Taylor left his residence and took his vehicle to go to work. Edward's car was later found on September 7, 2002 in the service area of Porte-du-Nord, which is located on the Trans Canada highway between Saint-Jérôme and Saint-Sauveur in Quebec. Edward has not been seen since.
