In the late autumn of 2013, a profound sense of unease settled over the city of Trois-Rivières, Quebec, following the disappearance of 19-year-old Alexis St-Denis. On November 2, he was at his home, but by 4:30 in the afternoon, concern for his welfare began to grow.
