Winifred 'Jane' Smith, a 20-year-old student at Laurentian University, was last seen on August 9, 1975, in Sudbury, Ontario. Known as Jane to her friends and family, she was a driven individual with aspirations of becoming a social worker. Originally from the Newmarket/Aurora area, she had chosen to spend the summer in Sudbury to be near her friends and boyfriend.
