On May 14, 1977, 19-year-old Terry Rowe, a male from Ontario, disappeared in connection with a boating accident near Snake Island on Lake Simcoe. According to the Government of Canada's national missing-person record, Rowe was involved in an accident on the lake and was subsequently believed to have drowned.
