On a summer day, July 1, 1957, a young First Nations boy named Leo Payash and his mother, Cecilia, were seen walking together in Red Lake, Ontario. Leo was only eight years old at the time, and his mother was forty-seven. They were making their way down Red Lake Road, a path that ran alongside the railway line, seemingly headed towards a place called Morgan.
