On May 19, 1958, Clifford McKell and a friend were last seen eating dinner and telling friends they were going canoeing on Snow Lake Manitoba. Neither man was considered an experienced paddler. No one saw the men leave in the canoe. The following day they were reported missing by their employer when they failed to report to work.
