In March of 2011, a young man from Toronto, Ontario, named Steven Lapowich, then 30 years old, made plans for a trip that would lead to his mysterious disappearance. He was last seen at Toronto's Pearson International Airport, intending to embark on what his family later learned was a planned three-week vacation to Costa Rica.
