In the late summer of 1996, Norman Gordon Douglas Krolman, a 39-year-old man from Winnipeg, Manitoba, went missing. There are conflicting dates regarding his last known activity; some sources indicate he was last seen on August 26, 1996, while others state the date was September 7, 1996. On one of those days, he was seen withdrawing money from an ATM in Winnipeg.
