Yvon Shawn Guignard relocated to the northern part of Manitoba during the summer of 2015 in pursuit of employment opportunities, with a particular interest in Churchill, Manitoba and the Northwest Territories. While in Thompson, he adopted a transient lifestyle, living in his vehicle and developing friendships within the homeless community.
