In the year 2000, a young man named Jack Gichuru Gatari embarked on a journey from his home in Nanyuki, Kenya, to the vast landscapes of Canada with the hope of furthering his education. His parents, Dr. and Mrs. Gatari, bid him a happy farewell at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, filled with pride and anticipation for his future.
