In the late summer of 2012, concern began to grow for a 46-year-old man from Split Lake, Manitoba, named Abraham Vincent Flett. His family last had contact with him sometime in August of that year while he was in the city of Thompson. As the weeks turned into months with no word, the worry for his well-being deepened.
