In the summer of 1998, a sense of unease settled over the town of Wainwright, Alberta, with the disappearance of 62-year-old Peter Arie DEKONING. A resident of the community, Peter was last seen on July 6th of that year. At the time of his disappearance, he was described as a white male, standing 6'0' and weighing 234 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. A noticeable scar marked the right side of his chin.
