In the autumn of 1985, a young woman named Susan Lynn Dawson, aged 27, sought a new beginning in the small community of Neville, Saskatchewan. Having recently relocated from Winnipeg, Manitoba, she had secured a position as a live-in housekeeper for a local man named Terry Murphy.
