Harold Cottrell was last seen on September 28, 1984, in a boat on Northwind Lake in Northern Ontario. It is believed that the aluminium boat he was travelling in with some companions was overloaded. The vessel began to submerge. Despite extensive search efforts, Harold could not be located and is presumed to have drowned.
