On September 3, 2009, Douglas Chong contacted his sister to inform her that he had attended the Toronto Western Hospital due to feeling unwell. He stated that he had been suffering from dehydration and was referred to Seaton House for recuperation. He allegedly stayed there for a period of three days, after which he was in a better state and then released. This communication represents the last known contact with Douglas.
