In the winter of 2017, concern grew for a 54-year-old man from Edmonton, Alberta, named Badri Prasad Bhattarai. He was reported missing on February 21, 2017, after his family was unable to get in touch with him, a silence that was deeply uncharacteristic and raised immediate alarm for his safety and well-being.
