In the summer of 1996, a heart-wrenching story began to unfold in the North York area of Ontario, Canada. Three-year-old Nina Akbarian, a little girl with brown hair and brown eyes, disappeared around early July of that year. Born on August 29, 1992, Nina was a young child whose life was irrevocably altered when she was taken from her familiar surroundings.
