On May 18, 2026, 37-year-old Benjiman Curtis Andersen disappeared after traveling to the Mount St. Helens area in Washington. Andersen, a resident of Washington County, Oregon, had rented a white 2025 Chevrolet Equinox and drove to Skamania County. The last known location for him was a GPS ping from his vehicle at 7:21 PM on National Forest Development Road 25, east of Mount St. Helens.
