Eliezer Mercado, a 53-year-old man, was last in contact with his family in early 2020 while he was in Manhattan, New York. At the time, he had been experiencing homelessness and was reportedly living in Central Park. Originally from Lawrence, Massachusetts, Mercado had ties to both the Lawrence area and New York City. His mother had initially reported him missing in 2019, but she was able to make contact with him in early 2020. During that conversation, he assured her that he was fine. However, ...
