Shelton is believed to have abducted her four children—Janay, Jazmine, Jozlynn, and Joseph Shelton—who were all with her at the time of their disappearance. Donica and her children have not been seen since. Authorities have classified the case as a family abduction, and it is suspected that Donica took her children without legal custody.
