In the autumn of 2025, a young woman named Sarah Delice Chovan, aged 20, found herself in a period of transition while staying at a local shelter in the desert city of Palm Springs, California. On November 4th, her communication with those who knew her abruptly ceased, and she was not seen again. Concern for her well-being grew, and on December 2, 2025, a formal report of her disappearance was filed with the Palm Springs Police Department.
