On May 15, 2025, a 57-year-old man named Jessie Lee Naylor vanished from Fayetteville, North Carolina. That evening, around 7:00 PM, a family member gave him a ride and dropped him off at a residence in the city. Before he left, the relative gave him $20 and inquired about his plans. Jessie mentioned he was on his way to see a female acquaintance, but he didn't share her name or address. This was the last time his family saw him.
