In the late afternoon of July 31, 2021, 83-year-old Barbara McCray was seen taking one of her customary walks near her home on Dugdown Road in Buchanan, Georgia. A family member saw her strolling down the road around 6:00 PM in the rural Polk County area, a familiar and comforting sight for those who knew her.
