Authorities are seeking public assistance in locating 14-year-old Derek Garcia, who was reported missing from San Antonio, Texas, on March 9, 2026. He was last seen leaving his residence in the 6200 block of Kimble Mill in Bexar County around 12:14 a.m. Derek disappeared along with his 17-year-old brother, Anthony Garcia. Both teenagers left their home on foot and do not have a vehicle.
Derek Garcia is described as a Hispanic male with brown hair and brown eyes.
He stands at approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, Derek was wearing a black t-shirt, a black hoodie with large lettering, striped black sweatpants, and black sandals.
His brother, Anthony Garcia, is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs about 180 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing gray Nike shorts and a blue t-shirt.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is handling the investigation into the disappearance of the two brothers. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children has also issued an alert for Derek, under case number 2079907.
