In the autumn of 2025, concern began to grow for 59-year-old Frederick Ellis of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. His family had not heard from him since October, a silence that became increasingly worrisome. This led them to contact the Oshkosh Police Department on January 10, 2026, to formally report him as a missing person.
